All of our caps, glass bottles, and silicone sleeves are leadless, non-toxic, BPA, BPS, phthalate, and cadmium-free. Our products undergo some of the most rigorous consumer product testing available. We make sure that our products meet and exceed high-bar standards globally such as FDA, CPSIA, California Prop 65 and REACH.
We offer pure borosilicate glass that us undecorated. Cadmium is often found in decorated glassware that is colored or tinted which we do not offer as these metallic inks and pigments can lead to contamination.
All customers who place an order on Shopkablo.com after February 22nd, 2020 will receive a 2nd generation Kablo bottle. If you found our product on Amazon, you can distinguish between the older generation and newer generation by looking for "1st Generation" and "2nd Generation" in the Amazon product titles.
Our 2nd generation Kablo bottles come with a solid (one-piece) 304 stainless steel cap, making them virtually indestructible, corrosion-resistant, and 100% dishwasher safe. This means you will not get any of the toxic glues that 99% of water bottle manufacturers use in their caps. Industrial adhesives used in caps will often break down, off-gassing harmful chemicals that we inevitably ingest. Our one-piece solid stainless steel cap ensures the Kablo quality and safety you have grown to love, and that we stand behind. You will also notice that our bottle, branding, and packaging have seen some updates.

Our silicone sleeves are made out of 100% food-grade FDA-approved silicone. They are BPA-free, non-leaching and non-toxic. Silicone is made of silica, the most abundant compound in our earth's crust. Silica is a naturally occurring element and can be found everywhere from rocks and plants to the insides of our bodies. Our silicone sleeve protects your Kablo glass water bottle against bumps and scratches and provides a gripping surface so you can transport your beverage with peace of mind. We have intentionally designed the sleeve to cover half of the 32 oz bottle to let you monitor your daily intake.
All of our products are made from 100% organic materials derived from natural resources. Borosilicate glass is comprised of 3 natural elements: boron, silica, and sodium.
Our boxes are made of recycled cardboard and they are 100% recyclable. They also make terrific storage boxes.
Our packing materials are 100% recyclable. Bubble wrap is mostly air and lightweight plastic, which cuts down on the amount of fuel burned during transportation and consequently, cuts down on emissions. Use this dropoff locator to find out where you can recycle your bubble mailer.

Our product is designed in Los Angeles, California but we currently manufacture in the cities of Yongkang, Shanghai, and Pinghu in state of the art glass fab facilities. Over the years we have searched for opportunities to continue manufacturing domestically, but due to the cost of production, we would not be able to offer a competitive price point to our consumers for the quality and materials we use. In the end, we wouldn’t be able to provide an affordable solution to single-use waste, and would not be able to fulfill our mission of providing accessible and reusable glass solutions. Our manufacturers comply with strict FDA regulations and create our products from raw materials that are safe for consumption, and that meet and exceed high-bar standards globally including FDA, CPSIA, California PROP 65 and REACH. All of our products are leadless, non-toxic, BPA-free, BPS-free, phthalate-free, cadmium-free and composed of 100% high-density borosilicate glass.
Kablo glass products are safe and sustainably produced. We have staff in China including our Quality Control inspection team made up of experienced third-party companies that lab test our products, and regularly visit our factories to confirm the quality standard of every production run. Our operations manager works directly with our suppliers to ensure Kablo products are produced with respect for the factory workers safety, our environmental concerns, and protected living wages for the employees. We regularly implement testing through third-party accredited laboratories to meet regulatory requirements from around the world and assure that our quality standards have been exceeded.
We work hard to ensure that the materials and operations involved with manufacturing our products exceed industry standards for environmental responsibility, safety, and fair labor. Bottled water is one of the biggest threats to our planet, with over 100 million non-biodegradable plastic bottles trashed every day in the US alone. Our mission is to eliminate single-use container pollution and deliver minimalist, high-quality products for our customers while doing so. Our work at Kablo is conducted on an ongoing basis through five primary activities: 1) we establish an agreement with all parties to conduct business in accordance with a Supplier Code of Conduct 2) third-party environmental and social performance assessments and improvements are made every quarter 3) regular factory visits by Kablo and its on-site representatives 4) quality control and inspection for all production runs 5) raw material and product safety testing.
With the caps screwed on, our bottles provide an airtight seal. Our stainless steel cap features a food-grade silicone lining to prevent leaks and is 100% BPA and BPS-free.
Wash your water bottle and cap upon arrival. Due to the thermal expansion during the manufacturing process, the bottle will have a subtle odor which will go away after your first wash.

Borosilicate glass can be recycled endlessly without quality loss or contamination. However, it is not recommended that you recycle our glass water bottles curbside with your local hauler as they may not have the necessary equipment to heat and recycle borosilicate glass which melts at a much higher temperature than standard soda-lime glass. Contact your local recycling center to confirm acceptance of borosilicate glass. A good resource for recycling solutions can be found at Earth 911.

We provide free shipping on all U.S. domestic orders over $75 for up to 8 lbs. You may upgrade to Priority shipping for a small fee. International order shipping is calculated based on quantity ordered and total weight.
We’re confident you’re going to take great care of your Kablo bottle. We also know accidents happen, which is why we have a 365-day one-time replacement policy. If you need a replacement, fill out our replacement request form here. Please note, an image of your broken bottle must be provided with your replacement request.
Our 365-day policy applies to each Kablo bottle purchased and is limited to a one-time replacement per bottle. It is only valid within the first 365 days of purchase. You don’t have to ship anything back to us, you will receive a brand new Kablo bottle with the lid in our original packaging.
Our glass bottles are 100% hardened borosilicate and resistant to thermal shock, you may pour boiling water into them and steep your favorite tea or coffee.
For thorough sanitization, you may place your Kablo bottle and cap in the dishwasher. Our 100% borosilicate glass bottles can easily withstand the high temperatures produced by standard and commercial appliances. We recommend placing glass bottles on the bottom rack and caps on the top rack.
Resilient and stretchy silicone lets you slide your sleeve on and off with ease - just wet the inside of the sleeve and outside of your bottle and twist.
We recommend cleaning with a bottle brush and warm, soapy water. For a thorough cleaning, you may place the bottle and cap in your dishwasher. We recommend placing glass bottles on the bottom rack and caps on the top rack. Borosilicate glass is easy to clean, durable, inert and sanitary. This is why it is the material of choice among food laboratories, fine dining restaurants, and wineries.
Like any glass bottle, the liquid inside will expand and crack your bottle if it is left in the freezer. We do not recommend putting your Kablo bottle in the freezer when it is filled with liquid.
